Continuous Improvement Engineer

Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead and facilitate Kaizen events. Provide lean training and serve as a continuous improvement subject matter expert.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and lead Kaizen events in an industrial environment from start through completion. Provide training and support to the lean teams throughout the entire process
• Problem solving using quantifiable measures.
• Lean thinking to eliminate waste and identify improvements.
• Provide lean training and develop training modules.
• Coach lean practioners to develop lean and continuous improvement skills to be able to facilitate Kaizen events.
• Support and develop lean operating systems for continuous improvements.
• Benchmark improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 2 years of lean, six sigma, Kaizen or continuous improvement experience
• Strong communication
• Strong problem solving skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Lean Certified
